- Put cooking oil in a measuring cup.
- Add Crisco until the oil rises to the top ring.
- Add sugar and eggs; beat until well combined.
- Sift dry ingredients together: flour, soda, salt, and baking powder.
- Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Roll into tiny balls and press with the solid bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake at 375°F for about 8 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Use ungreased cookie sheets for baking.
