Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 3 c. shredded or chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. grated carrot

Instructions

  1. Combine salt, pepper, dry mustard, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add salad oil and vinegar; mix well.
  3. Pour the dressing over shredded or chopped cabbage, minced onion, chopped green pepper, and grated carrot.
  4. Toss all ingredients together thoroughly.
  5. Chill the relish thoroughly before serving.
