Ingredients

  • 1 lb butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 lb pecans, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon extract
  • 1/2 lb red cherries
  • 1/2 lb green cherries
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Dredge raisins and chopped pecans in flour.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add one egg at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Add all ingredients together and mix well.
  5. Pour batter into a greased tube pan.
  6. Bake at 300°F for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
