Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 can chicken rice soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup green pepper
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Cook the wild rice according to package instructions.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then add chopped onion, celery, and green pepper; cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice with the browned meat and vegetables, chicken rice soup, and two cans of cream of mushroom soup; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 3-quart casserole dish.
  5. Spread the remaining can of mushroom soup evenly over the top.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 2 hours.
