Ingredients

  • 4 broccoli stalks
  • 1 green pepper
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 small purple cabbage
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seed
  • 1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Chop the broccoli, green pepper, celery, cauliflower, and purple cabbage.
  2. Combine the sugar, dry mustard, salt, vinegar, vegetable oil, poppy seed, and chopped onion to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the chopped vegetables and marinate for 6 hours or overnight.
