Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup white Karo syrup
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Melt the miniature marshmallows and margarine together in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Krispies in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and press down to evenly distribute.
  3. In a separate saucepan, heat the white sugar and Karo syrup together over medium heat, stirring until combined but do not let it boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter until smooth.
  5. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the Rice Krispies in the pan and press down gently to spread evenly.
