- Cut bread in half.
- Spread half with butter.
- Stir together vinegar, oil and garlic salt.
- Dip lettuce leaves into mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer remaining ingredients on tomato slices.
- Place top half of bread on filling.
- Secure with toothpicks.
- Makes 6 servings.
