Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla, and crushed pineapple with juice in a large bowl.
  3. Add all-purpose flour and baking soda to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans or walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
