Ingredients

  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream sugars and margarine; add oil, egg, and vanilla.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Add coconut and rolled oats.
  4. Sift together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt, then add in parts to the mixture.
  5. Mix in Rice Krispies.
  6. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350°F oven.
