Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can French green beans, drained
  • 1 (No. 2) can kidney beans, drained
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimiento, cut up and drained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Mix together the green beans, kidney beans, chopped celery, chopped green pepper, and drained pimiento.
  2. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, water, salt, and paprika to make the dressing.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well.
  4. Chill the salad for at least 24 hours before serving.
  5. Drain any excess liquid before serving.
