Ingredients

  • 2 c. raisins
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Combine raisins, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, sour cream, eggs, and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook until thick over reduced heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Set the raisin mixture aside to cool.
  3. Blend the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the cheese mixture into a baked 9-inch plain pastry pie shell.
  6. Add the cooled raisin mixture on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Spread the remaining cheese mixture over the raisin layer.
  8. Refrigerate the pie and serve it cool.
