Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can kidney beans (16 oz.)
  • 1 can green beans, drained (16 oz.)
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 (16 oz.) can baked beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, fry diced bacon and chopped onions until tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Drain the grease and stir in brown sugar, vinegar, garlic salt, salt, and dry mustard.
  3. Add kidney beans, green beans, baked beans, garbanzo beans, and butter beans; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 3-quart casserole dish and bake in a 350°F oven until hot and bubbly, about 1 1/2 hours.
