Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cut into pieces
  • 3 small to medium onions, chopped
  • 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pork and beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 tsp. vinegar

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef, bacon pieces, and chopped onions in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the cooked meat and vegetables with the drained beans, ketchup, sugars, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
  4. Serve hot, garnished as desired.
