Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup alphabet macaroni
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine broth, cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, chopped celery, chopped onion, thyme leaves, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and stir in alphabet macaroni.
  3. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, or until vegetables and macaroni are tender.
  4. Remove bay leaf.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
