Almond Apple Wheat Bread Stuffing

- Saute chopped apples, sliced almonds, chopped onions, and celery in butter for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove the mixture from heat.
- Stir in ground cinnamon, poultry seasoning, and salt.
- Toss together cubed whole wheat bread and raisins.
- Add the apple mixture to the bread and raisin mixture.
- Stir together the beaten egg and 1/3 cup of apple cider, then add to the bread mixture.
- If a moister stuffing is desired, add remaining apple cider and mix well.
