Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (with juice)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and crushed pineapple (with juice).
  2. Add the brown sugar and mix well.
  3. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda, mixing until incorporated.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
