Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cups sliced celery
  • 2 cups toasted bread crumbs
  • 1 cup salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) package Swiss cheese, sliced and cut into thin strips
  • 1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients except for almonds, salad dressing, and milk in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, thin the salad dressing with the milk.
  3. Pour the salad dressing mixture over the combined ingredients and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
  6. Top with toasted slivered almonds when finished baking.
