Ingredients

  • 1 large package frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips

Instructions

  1. Heat 1/4 cup butter and cream of chicken soup in a saucepan.
  2. Blend in sour cream and chopped green onions.
  3. Stir in the frozen hash browns.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  5. Place crushed potato chips on top of the casserole.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the chips.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
