Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 large cans tomato sauce
  • 2 dashes oregano
  • 1 large pkg. cottage cheese
  • 1 small pkg. cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Lasagna noodles, cooked to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage and ground beef with spaghetti sauce mix until browned.
  2. Add chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, tomato sauce, and oregano; simmer briefly.
  3. In a bowl, mix eggs and cottage cheese with 1 teaspoon pepper.
  4. Layer meat mixture, cooked lasagna noodles, cottage cheese mixture, and shredded mozzarella in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering process three times to build layers.
  7. Bake at 350°F until hot and bubbly, about 60 minutes.
