- 3/4 cup boiling water ⓘ

Instructions
- Butter and flour a 10-inch springform pan.
- Line the bottom of the pan with waxed paper.
- Butter and flour the paper.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sift flour, baking soda, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, cloves, and salt into a medium bowl.
- Set aside.
