Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts or black walnuts
  • 3 cups grated apples

  4. Mix well and pour into a tube pan or 9 x 15 x 2-inch pan.
