Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. applesauce
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine.
  2. Blend in brown sugar and molasses.
  3. Add eggs and beat well.
  4. Stir in applesauce.
  5. Sift together flour, soda, ginger, and cinnamon into the mixture.
  6. Blend until well combined.
  7. Pour into a baking pan and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
