Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 stick margarine melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz shredded sharp cheese
  • 2 cups crumbled corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Put frozen hash brown potatoes in a lasagna-type casserole dish.
  2. Add diced onion on top of the potatoes.
  3. Drizzle half of the melted margarine over the potatoes and onions.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and sour cream.
  5. Add the soup and sour cream mixture to the casserole and stir well.
  6. Sprinkle shredded sharp cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Place crumbled corn flakes over the cheese layer.
  8. Drizzle the remaining melted margarine over the corn flakes.
  9. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
