Ingredients

  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup melted margarine
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  3. Mix together beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla, and melted margarine.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and add to egg mixture, mixing well.
  5. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and fold into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes.
