Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp minced onion
  • 1/4 cup minced bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp.
  2. Crumble the bacon and reserve 2 tablespoons of drippings.
  3. Combine the reserved bacon drippings with vinegar, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  4. Toss shredded cabbage with minced onion, minced bell pepper, and the dressing.
  5. Mix well and add the crumbled bacon just before serving.
