Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh haddock
  • 6 to 8 large cooked shrimp
  • 1 stack Ritz crackers
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 dashes ground pepper
  • paprika
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add crushed Ritz crackers to the melted margarine.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, lemon juice, and ground pepper.
  4. Mix well until ingredients are combined.
  5. Place the haddock fillets in a baking dish and top with cooked shrimp.
  6. Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the fish and shrimp.
  7. Sprinkle paprika over the top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and broil for 5 minutes to brown the topping.
  10. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the dish before serving.
