Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 envelope Lipton mushroom soup mix
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon regular mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Lightly beat eggs in a large bowl.
  2. Pour in milk.
  3. Stir in mushroom soup mix, minced onion, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and bread crumbs.
  4. Let sit a few minutes until the crumbs are soaked.
  5. Add ground beef and mix very well.
  6. Place bacon slices over the top of the meat in the pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 1/2 hours.
