Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef short ribs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 c. water
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef short ribs in soy sauce overnight.
  2. Roll ribs in flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brown the ribs in oil in a heavy roaster.
  4. Add onion slices, water, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Simmer for 4 hours, adding water if necessary.
  6. Serve hot, good with rice.
