Ingredients

  • 2 cups noodles
  • 2 kielbasa sausage
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles in 6 cups of water until tender, then drain.
  2. Brown the kielbasa sausage in oil, cooking about 5 minutes on each side, then remove from skillet.
  3. Saute chopped cabbage, onions, salt, pepper, and caraway seed in the same skillet for about 20 minutes.
  4. Add cooked noodles, brown sugar, and vinegar to the cabbage mixture and stir well.
  5. Arrange the noodle and cabbage mixture on a serving dish and top with the browned sausage slices.
