Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3 small bananas, cut up
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Add chopped walnuts to the dry ingredients and stir.
  3. In the blender, combine sugar, softened butter, egg, bananas, and milk; cover and blend for 8 to 15 seconds until smooth.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients and stir until all ingredients are well moistened.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and cool on a rack before slicing.
