Banana Nut Tea Bread

- Cream sugar and butter together until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
- Mix well to combine all wet ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the banana mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Stir in chopped nuts.
- Gently fold in sour cream until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before turning out onto a rack.
