Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed graham crackers
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 c. crushed nuts
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • firm bananas
  • 2 c. whipped cream
  • maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Combine crushed graham crackers and 6 tablespoons melted butter, mixing well.
  2. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and beaten eggs.
  4. Beat the mixture until fluffy.
  5. Spread the sugar mixture over the crumb layer.
  6. Slice bananas lengthwise and arrange them over the sugar mixture.
  7. Spoon crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  8. Cover the pineapple layer with whipped cream.
  9. Sprinkle with crushed nuts.
  10. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
  11. Chill for 6 hours before serving.
