Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups catsup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine hamburger, cracker crumbs, pepper, and salt; shape into balls.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix catsup, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, sugar, vinegar, and water.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
  4. Bake at 475°F for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice or as hors d'oeuvres.
