Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck beef
  • 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • 3/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together ground chuck beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, salt, paprika, chopped onions, egg, milk, and pepper.
  2. Mold the mixture into a rounded loaf shape.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of additional ketchup over the top of the loaf.
  4. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
  5. Microwave on Medium-High (7) for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. When the microwave signals, remove the meat loaf and let stand about 10 minutes to firm before serving.
