Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 (16 oz) can green beans, drained
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz) can wax beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 (17 oz) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can chili beans, undrained
  • 2 tbsp prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Drain off the fat.
  3. Add chopped onions and celery to the beef and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in undiluted cream of tomato soup, tomato paste, and ketchup; simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a large kettle or roasting pan.
  6. Add the drained green beans, wax beans, lima beans, and chili beans (undrained).
  7. Stir well to combine.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
