Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • flour
  • onions
  • green pepper
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beer
  • 2 small cans mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Pound flour into the steak to tenderize.
  2. Brown the meat in fat.
  3. Cook with onions and green pepper.
  4. Put the steak in a Dutch oven with more green pepper, tomato sauce, beer, and mushrooms.
  5. Cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Add a little water if the mixture becomes too thick.
