Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 1 c. shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a 3-quart saucepan, saute the beef, onion, and celery until the meat is browned.
  2. Add stewed tomatoes and salt; bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the macaroni.
  4. Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
  5. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
