Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 medium cauliflower, separated (4 cups)
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup sliced green onions and tops
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef cubes in oleo for 5 minutes.
  2. Add cauliflower, green peppers, soy sauce, and minced garlic to the beef.
  3. Stir lightly to coat the ingredients with soy sauce.
  4. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Blend cornstarch, sugar, and beef broth together.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture to the meat and vegetable mixture along with sliced green onions.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, until heated through and thickened.
  8. Serve over rice.
