- Slice beef across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- Place the beef slices in a shallow dish.
- In a small bowl, combine seasoned salt, pepper, soy sauce, liquid smoke, onion powder, Worcestershire, and garlic powder; pour over beef.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 150°F (65°C).
- Lay beef strips on a rack set over an aluminum foil-lined pan.
- Place in oven; prop oven door open with a pencil to allow moisture to escape.
- Bake for 8 to 12 hours, or until meat is dry and chewy.
