Beef 'N Beans Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 3/4 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Brown ground chuck in skillet; drain off fat and put in crock-pot. Brown onions and bacon; drain off fat. Add bacon, onions and remaining ingredients to pot.
  2. Stir together well. Cover and cook 4 to 6 hours.
  3. Delicious on a cold winter day.
