- Trim the round steak and cut it into serving size pieces.
- Pound the meat to tenderize and coat each piece with flour.
- Mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a shallow dish.
- Dip the floured meat into the beaten egg, then into the bread crumb and Parmesan mixture.
- Brown the coated meat in cooking oil in a skillet.
- Place the browned meat in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Mix tomato paste with hot water, minced garlic, minced onion, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the meat.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 30-40 minutes until cooked through.
