Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. finely, chopped onion
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/3 c. water

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup of condensed golden mushroom soup with the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into 6 patties and place them in a baking dish.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain off the excess fat from the dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix the remaining mushroom soup with water.
  6. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the cooked patties.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
