Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chuck roast or stir-fry meat
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup onion
  • garlic
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. Put the meat, onion, and garlic in a large frying pan and brown them.
  3. Add the vegetables and water to the pan.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 30 minutes, adding more water if needed.
  5. Mix 2 tablespoons of flour with 2 tablespoons of water to make gravy.
  6. Add the gravy to the meat and vegetables and cook until thickened.
  7. Serve over rice or noodles.
