Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. stew beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can water
  • 1 small can mushrooms (undrained)
  • pepper to taste
  • 8 oz. egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown the stew beef in about 2 tablespoons of oil; drain excess fat.
  2. Mix the browned beef with cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix, water, mushrooms, and pepper in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  4. Serve the beef tips over cooked egg noodles.
