Ingredients

  • 2 lb. meat loaf mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 bottles chili sauce
  • 1 1/2 bottles beer
  • 3/4 c. flavored bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except beer, chili sauce, and brown sugar. Form into 50 medium-sized meatballs.
  2. Place meatballs on a cookie sheet and bake in a 325°F oven for 30 minutes until browned.
  3. While meatballs are baking, combine chili sauce, beer, and brown sugar in a large saucepan.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot with toothpicks for easy serving.
