Ingredients

  • 12 to 15 green tomatoes
  • 12 to 15 ripe tomatoes
  • 6 red peppers
  • 6 green peppers
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 6 onions
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Chop the tomatoes, red peppers, green peppers, cabbage, and onions finely.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, salt, and sugar.
  3. Cook the mixture until it comes to a good boil.
  4. Can and seal the relish in sterilized jars.
