A creamy, cheesy bean dip with savory green chilies and salsa, perfect for parties and gatherings, served warm with crispy tostado chips for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 large can refried beans
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 small can chopped green chilies
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar salsa
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small can chopped ripe olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Soften the cream cheese.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, refried beans, and taco seasoning.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add chopped green chilies, chopped green onions, sour cream, and salsa.
  6. Mix well after each addition.
  7. Pour the mixture into a medium baking dish.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven.
  10. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.
  11. Return to oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  12. Serve warm with tostado chips.
