Tips & Substitutions

For a nut-free version, you can substitute the pecans with additional flake coconut or oats. If you prefer a sweeter crust, consider increasing the brown sugar slightly. Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier blending. You can also use frozen blueberries; just thaw and drain them before cooking to avoid excess moisture.

Serving Suggestions

These Blueberry Cheese Bars are delightful served chilled or at room temperature. They pair beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for added richness. For a fresh contrast, serve with a side of lemon sorbet or enjoy alongside a cup of tea. They make an excellent dessert for gatherings or a sweet treat for afternoon snacks.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover Blueberry Cheese Bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 3 months. To reheat, simply thaw in the refrigerator overnight and warm in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes until heated through.
