- Mix the self-rising cornmeal, self-rising flour, chopped celery, chopped onion, eggs, oil, and buttermilk until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake until golden brown, like cornbread.

- Add chicken broth and 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning or sage to the crumbled cornbread.
