- Trim the brisket and season it generously with Season‑All.
- Wrap the seasoned brisket in aluminum foil, sealing it completely.
- Place the wrapped brisket in a preheated oven at 375°F and roast for 60 minutes.
- Remove the brisket from the oven, let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
- While the brisket rests, strain the juices that have accumulated in the pan.
- In a saucepan, melt ½ cup butter over medium heat and whisk in ½ cup flour to create a roux.
- Gradually add the strained juices to the roux, stirring until smooth.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then stir in 1 can of tomato paste until fully incorporated.
- Add sliced onion, chopped carrots, and green pepper strips to the sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
- Slice the rested brisket and arrange on a platter, then pour the tomato‑butter sauce over the meat and serve hot.
